The licensed Block is situated on the south part of the Scythian plate within the northern slope of Indolo-Kubanskiy Trough which is in the southern part of the Sea of Azov.
The crossection under investigation is represented by the Mesozoic-Cenozoic complex of deposits.
The Cenozoic complex is composed of terrigenous deposits. Mesozoic — of terrigenous-carbonate deposits.
