The licensed block Visokosniy is located in Indolo-Kuban region of North-Caucasus-Mangyshlakskaya province, southern part of the Sea of Azov.
Production capacity of the region deposits is proved in Paleozoic complex (more than 20 onshore fields) and in Cenozoic complex (more than 100 onshore and offshore fields).
Oil-and-gas-source formations are Triassic and Jurassic clay rocks and Cenozoic clays (total thickness — 6–8 km).
Hydrocarbon migration is possible to be both vertical and lateral (southernly) from Indolo-Kuban Trough.
Reservoirs: Upper Jurasic organogenic limestones, Cenozoic interlayered sandstones.
Traps: lithological and deformational.
Seals: Cenozoic plastic clays.
The structures revealed at the licensed block allows to expect hydrocarbon commercial discoveries.
